    A day late and dollar short. Nissan has had years to do something and go beyond the original Leaf. They could have improved the thermal management by now. They could offered Leaf in 200 mile + versions by now. They could have reduced the prices and be shown a real alternative at the lower end of the market by now. They have not done much except sell an over priced car (around $33,000 out of the door) and bank on the federal tax credit to seal the deal. They may claim to have sold more EVs worldwide then Tesla but that will change very soon with the Model 3. By 2020 (as stated in this article) there will be at least 3 or 4 others (not including Tesla) competing against the Infiniti in the luxury segment. Nissan squandered their early mover advantage and are now playing catch up.

    Interesting. I'm sure it will not be cheap.
