My TuxMats arrived today... sitting in a box on the porch as I pulled in with my brand new Clarity, how's that for timing?? :)

I am impressed... I placed my order on Costco.ca on August 6th (which is a holiday here) at 1pm, and they arrived today, less than 48 hours later!

  4. I've been looking at the "last one" Clarity Tuxmat on eBay, it has been there for 2 weeks. (Shipped by Tuxmat and slightly cheaper than Amazon)
This morning I was going to buy it with the 1-day only 15% ebay coupon, and someone got it first
Message Tuxmat and they have no intention to add more back to eBay.
Might be I should just go for the OEM

Nothing wrong with the rear Tuxmat. I just don’t like the look of a one piece that covers the entire rear.

I still haven't had a chance to install my new TuxMats yet. So far I'm using the carpeted mats that came with the car, which are fine but can tell they are pretty thin and won't wear well.

Love these Tuxmat’s. Had several sets of Weathertech’s for other vehicles and these fit better, softer and look better

Just got the tuxmats and love them. I had other brand of rubber mats on my Prius, and they were not much better then factory-installed. The tuxmats cover all the way around the back seats and front. Very little carpet area is exposed to elements. Amazon has them for $197.so worth it.

I never thought I'd be enthusiastic about something as boring as a car mat, but I think I've told a dozen people how much i like my Tuxmats on my Clarity. The coverage and style is just outstanding!

I agree. The tuxmats have been my favourite mod on this car.

  14. Pulled the trigger on Tuxmat from ebay with a new 1-day only 15% off coupon (PREGAME15). Mine is the only sale since last ebay coupon above.
    It's US$171 shipped.

I don't understand what's their sales strategy on eBay, seems they always "keep" only 1 in store (same for the Accord and Civic one) and restock it the next day only.
So, it's out of stock now, otherwise, I will suggest anyone interested in it can just go ordering it with the coupon.

You might also check Costco (in Canada, costco.ca sells Tuxmat for C$199 compare to C$229 on their site), that's US$154 vs US$177

  16. Costco US doesn't sell Tuxmat

That's too bad. I have seen so many things that are sold in costco.com vs costco.ca. Wow finally Canadian Costco has something that is not sold in the US :D

Sorry if this is a stupid question.. When u install these rubber mats, do yall take out the factory fabric mats or place the rubber mats in top of them?

Not stupid at all, important question!
You should remove the factory carpet mats when you install rubber/Weathertech/Tuxmat. There won't be room for a safe and snug fit if you keep the carpet mats in.
And then if you keep the carpet mats clean and stored, years later you can use them and refresh your car like it's brand new :)

I emailed them about this - their response was basically "they're coming; keep an eye out." So... hang tight?

One of the problems with the OEM ones is the rear ones are two pieces and do not cover the hump. And the floor liner seems very cheap and thin.

Agree on the hump issue but the factory rubber mats are Preeti decent quality, not cheap at all.
