Now that I'm in full on CAN'T WAIT mode that'll probably end up happening. I think letting go of the i3 so early has me very anxious to replace it now.
When I got my production number from my advisor, I entered it in the My Garage site and MINI gave me the VIN. I didn't have the production number until after it started being built, so the VIN may not get assigned until it actually enters the production line.
My Garage showed your VIN after entering your production number? (Sorry, just clarifying. I already have production number loaded in My Garage.) Thanks!
Awesome, thanks again! I was hoping it would so I wouldn't have to pester my dealer for it. It already shows the correct colors/wheels and all for me, but just says it's scheduled for production. Not sure when that'll be but I'm excited!
It takes only a day for the train ride from Plant Oxford to the UK port in Southampton. When it leaves the port depends on the shipping companies--they don't observe regular schedules like trains do. How long it will take to get to you once it's on a ship depends on whether that ship has to go through the Panama Canal (when production shifts to China, the Panama delay will switch to East Coast deliveries). Where do you live? You've given me an excuse to post this artificially disheartening photo again.
FWIW I've tried it as well - I tried it with my current address, and then the address to which I am moving in the next month. No dice!
3rd person who can't get my garage to accept my address here. I tried with past 3 addresses, all correct, and simple addresses to boot. No dice. No response from mini support, when I emailed my salesperson about it he said "I think it want's your email address, not physical address" so that was not helpful haha. I lucked into taking someone else's reservation after they got cold feet, so even though I ordered last week production is supposed to start this month! I want to track it damn you MINI!
I suspect they got ICE feet. You certainly got lucky with your reservation. I hope your quest to have MINI acknowledge your existence is successful.
Well i finally was able to add my address into mygarage.miniusa.com. Apparently they fixed the website. Just to make sure, i logged out and back in. I was not prompted for my address, so it must have stuck. I still have not received a production number or VIN (2022-02-28 order date), but at least i will be able to enter the info once i get it.
Sig+ trim. Added black stripes, roof rails and cross-punched leather. Put in a deposit on miniusa.com for a 2023 SE on 11 APR 2022. Order placed by "local" Mini dealer 14 APR 2022. Order accepted today, 11 MAY 2022. Build week assigned for 20 JUN 2022. Only credit listed is for heated wheel.
Thaks for posting that. I toyed with the idea of bailing and reordering to get the heated wheel. If I did that I would be past the 2023 deadline.
Update: 2023 SE Sig+ began production on 26MAY, a month sooner than anticipated. Looking at late July delivery instead of October.
And today, it's awaiting assignment to a shipping carrier. It appeared to be on the line for about 24 hours.
On 21 June, my order left Southampton Port on Donington, headed to Bremerhaven Germany. It's been moored there since 23 June. Why is it killing me?!
Anyone know the port and route the countryman goes through leaving Netherlands ? I ordered a countryman S to go with my SE lol. And it’s not leaving out of Southampton… it’s at the port and really curious how the route would be… thx Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
Thanks.. curious on the vessel and shipping route it takes to get to the states Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
Think it ships from Zeebrugge. NYK Line and Wallenius Wilhelmsen are possible shipping options to Port Hueneme, CA (if that is your arrival port). In both cases the boats stop at Zeebrugge before Southampton.
