The photos show a flap on the driver side with a "C" below the A pillar. The reason I ask is a plugin XC90 driving 40 mph on electricity would pour gasoline on the fire of those wanting our electric cars to make more noise. Bob Wilson
It is a plug-in hybrid. I don't think noise enters the equation here. Just cruising along at 38 miles an hour, the sound difference to the pedestrian between running electric and running the engine would have been pretty small. Imperceptible, even.
