I really enjoy riding around town in Sport mode, it really makes a difference to me. I always use full regeneration at the same time which is easy because it stays locked in that state in Sport Mode. It obviously depends on how "hard" you drive the car but driving what I consider "normally" I have notice no significant difference in EV use compared to using Normal mode when I use full regeneration only occasionally when I remember. Has anyone else done this comparison? If it is true, it seems like a more fun way to drive.

AFAIK Sport mode doesn't use more energy per se, it changes the throttle mapping to deliver more energy earlier. So if you're light on the throttle you should be able to achieve similar results to Normal or even Eco mode, all other things being equal.

but it seems like using full regeneration all the time makes up for some lead footing which I can't resist in Sport mode.

I love driving in spots mode with full regen, it’s like single pedal driving. I don’t floor the gas pedal, so never saw ICE turning on. Based on EV range after full charge, it’s looking equivalent to eco mode or normal mode.
