Help! I've screwed up! I was loading something into my wife's Q7 in our tight garage and dented the Clarity with the other car's door.

It's right on the character line. Not sure what to do. Don't want to spend huge money... Does anyone know what should be done with this? There doesn't appear to be any significant paint damage. How to pop it back out???

We had a similar dent (size, too) on our Clarity front door after a shopping cart hit the car. The local Honda dealer uses a person who does paintless dent repair (tools inserted in the window-door crack to force the dent outward from the inside). We had him remove the dent and the result is barely noticeable. We paid the dealer's wholesale price of $40 but I think that similar repairs cost well under $100.

If you contact a dent-removal specialist, be sure to tell them your door is aluminum.

I've been driving aluminum-doored Hondas for 21 years and have probably totaled a few walking miles in that time due to parking so far away from other cars. One day, on my long walk through the parking lot to the store I was visiting I was amused to walk by a Ferrari also parked away from other cars, but closer in than I had parked.

I agree. I've used many dentless repairmen and it's amazing how they do it. They slide a tool down the window and slowly push out the dent. Amazing! Such flawless repair for about $50.

I have a similar dent above the left rear wheel. I think it was caused by a shopping cart or someone's door.
