A very sensible and economical precaution for those of use who have long intervals between HV driving.
(Hey @insightman , I didn’t even mention the S word since hardly any one goes as long as I do on a tank.)

I still have 1/2 tank of gas left from filling it on July 20, 2018.

I was on Gold Eagle’s website reading about their Stabil line of fuel treatments. There are 2 Stabil products for automotive fuel treatment:
    1. The original Stabil Storage that helps prevent gasoline degradation for up to 24 months.
    2. Stabil 360 Protection that prevents corrosion caused by moisture and ethanol blended fuels. Prevent gasoline degradation for up to 12 months.
For my small engines it would be nice if they have a product that had the best of both.

For the Clarity I am thinking since it has a pressurized tank gas going stale is less likely if less than a year old. Ethanol and moisture might still be an issue for those than go many months without adding fresh gas. On my small engines I have used just the regular Stabil Storage and I have not had ethanol issues that I am aware. My gas storage for the emergency generator and the motorcycle (both have carborators) is not usually over 6 months.

I would guess the Stabil 360 in our pressurized tanks would preserve far longer than the 12 months advertised while still treating the ethanol and moisture. Is it needed? I don’t know. It is cheap and safe, yes.
