    Hey Folks,

I can't find a place in the infotainment unit that allows me to adjust the volume of the ringer on incoming calls. On my car, it's always very loud, regardless of how loud the stereo is playing.

    Thanks,

    Marc

The trick is to use the steering wheel volume control WHILE the sound you wish to adjust is actually playing.

Next time it rings, use the volume control on the steering wheel. It seems to be context sensitive and will control whatever sound is coming through at the time you use it.

Wow - I actually never thought to try that. And will the lowered volume "stick" for subsequent calls? I'll have to try this.

Yes, it holds the last volume level set for whichever audio source was adjusted.

Ringing and Bluetooth audio don't just depend on the car's volume setting. The phone's Bluetooth audio volume level matters, too.
