sorry if there is a thread on this. I didn’t find it (or the search function) while on my phone.

I happened to go to my car a couple times tonight while it was plugged into a 120. I noticed it sounded like the engine was running in the front of the car, I checked to make sure that the car was off and the climate control was off. The noise, when I unplugged it, stopped. I plugged it back in and a while later i went back out to the garage and noticed it did it again and actually stopped on it’s own after I was out there.

    Anyone notice this?

It’s the radiator fan. The car seems to have a good, active cooling system for the battery. That’s the sound of your car protecting its expensive traction battery.

    This.

You can hear the same thing when running the climate system during preconditioning.
