New Mustang essentially a re-branded Model Y- literally?

If you look at which companies sided (the absolute smart move) with CA it was those companies that besides Tesla are serious about electrics and that was VW, Ford, Honda and one that wants to fake it BMW. VW because experienced Diesel Gate and its shifting its sunk cost and its new Model line up including ID to fully electric. Honda because of all the ICE manufacturers they are the very pinnacle of average fuel economy and lowest grams of carbon per mile. Ford because it partnered with VW on the electric truck but what that is really about is just like FCA, Ford is about to lean on Tesla hard for the skate board tech (battery plus motors.) Notice the seeming connection between VW and Tesla of late. Well guess what- that Ford F150 that was camouflaged seen with a bunch of Model 3s on a Tesla carrier truck coming out of a Tesla factory predated by some months Fords claimed demo of an electric truck pulling 1 million lbs on steel wheels (takes about 50hp- not the real 300klbs Musk was talking about) and bet they were the same vehicle. Just as with FCA Tesla will provide the skate tech for F150 electric and the Mustang cross over.

Look at the timing on the Lutz comments calling the Model Y a hump back, that coincided with Ford giving a Tesla copy cat glimmer of the roof line of the new Mustang SUV and that roof line is Model Y (with a bit of iPace in the back and some Mustang hood line) down to the range of 300 miles (think its just a coincidence its the exact same range as a Model Y?)- anyone think Ford of all companies suddenly figured out how to do 300 miles? Notice the release time will match the Model Y too and was accelerated just like the Model Y? Notice it has different battery packs just like the Model Y. Notice it has he same starting 40K staring price just like the Model Y? Notice it will come in rear and all wheel drive models just like the Model Y? Notice it will have the same 150kwh fast charging capacity as the Model Y? Notice it will have the same 0-60 speed as the Model Y? Notice it is called the Mach E and Ford took the Model E from Tesla- this is Musk's sense of humor to balance things. You see the Model 3 was supposed to be the Model E. Now Ford has the Mach E (which is only slightly Mustang-ish) but you see this is a faux or mach/mock Model 3 or a variant of the Model Y which is a variant of the Model 3. Are you beginning to see how much mileage Musk is getting out of iterating one design. Do you see the Tesla pattern of S to X and then S to 3 and then X to Y and Tesla semi to the first rendering of the Tesla pick up (from he Semi launch) looking like the Tesla semi. Lutz knows the Mach E is just a Tesla Model Y with some Ford Styling touches because he is an insider. And his comments were probably timed to a recent viewing of the Mach E- but he'd know immediately. And he has a grudge against Tesla because it totally makes Detroit look stupid and pisses on his legacy so he wants to give a shove to his Detroit alma mater against Tesla so he dissed the Model Y when he saw the Ford re-branded variant of the Model Y to help Ford/Detroit and by extension himself look better. But why would we expect anything else from these firms? Aside from making the ICE engines they were vitamin formulator outsourcers for decades now- they were just label ingredient pickers.

Musk doesn't care because this is exactly in line with the mission of Tesla and will only further Tesla's bottom line. We've seen this before when GM tried to get Tesla to buy one of its factories and then its CEO tried to blame Tesla when it wouldn't buy that trojan horse. Tesla will have control over these things to the requisite degree but paradoxically it will probably be like the GM side of Nummi where the Toyota side with the same tech was always much higher quality because for instance GM almost never implemented employee suggestions where Toyota implemented all of them.

Now it has come out that Toyota was middle of the pack on average fuel economy and grams of CO2 per mile from 2012-2017 but was the only company to go backwards on both across the years- pathetic, and it keeps spewing that stupid criminal hydrogen long tail pipe scam- hydrogen should be banned because it will be sourced from fossil fuels only dirtier because of higher energy need. As soon as Musk said the S and X were mainly sentimental and no longer core to the mission Lexus announced a full BEV. Why? In part because Lexus has had a decade of getting beat by Tesla so suddenly they think the focus is shifting in line with Tesla's stated mission so they think it is safe. They miscalculated on Trump. He was elected because the electoral college saw her cheating in the primary and didn't want to the baggage and although her tax plan was criminally irresponsible with regard to taxing the rich they were sure they would do better under him. This time they will see him involved with cheating in both the last election and this election and side against him. And they have to do this also because while she was about the weakest candidate in history with her righteous bribe taking and general robotic an oppressive entitled attitude she still beat him (despite his cheating- and his not even wanting it- see his face when the EC selected him- pure my pet goat?) by the 4th largest popular margin in history. You'd think Toyota would have something good but their pure solid state battery by announcement stats only seems to line up with Tesla current stuff- and Tesla's troubles with Panasonic seem to have come when Toyota started courting them- so it might have been pressure from Toyota. Sad because we have Tesla because of Toyota- what happened? Part of it is their head said essentially there wasn't enough complexity in EVs to create interesting brand differentiation- but CA was fighting with Toyota before and it may have been resistance over the EV stuff. Toyota may be suffering from what BMW suffers from- may have been more targeted by fossil fuel industry presumably like BMW.

This stuff is just like what GM seems to be doing with Waymo on self-driving. GM is run by profit focused people who say stuff like: building an automobile is not an efficient us of capital. So they buy Cruz but sell out to Waymo under not invented here thinking they can hide behind NDAs. Remember 3-4 years ago GM saying its Cruz Bolt was already FSD level on the streets of San Francisco- they even did a clearly fake video- take the, obviously fake now. Where are all the fake Navigant claims now? They think the can sell out and then finance some FUD and they are fine. Just like don't pay of the government loan over their bankruptcy but give their share holders 25 billion in gifts while laying off employees.
Look which side of that CA line GM is on- that is more sell out as a way of life type stuff.

This is the 2nd time Musk's companies did this. Look at the SpaceX engine and see how revolutionary it is. It is also fully green. They can make their own methane from CO2 and water or use existing supplies (less green) but no net CO2 and less methane as a result.

Kind of funny that Ford which abandoned cars understands that Tesla's baby SUV will preform like what their next gen Mustang should.

Will Tesla and Ford announce together some of these like collaboration on the Mach E and F-150 at he LA Auto show or same time frame and will Tesla show its 2 trucks the Cyber truck and production commercial Semi. Will Tesla have the more conservative version of the pick up on hand (which I think we saw a rendering of provided by Tesla at the Semi un-veling- on with the F150 in the back) will they show a van version of he truck based on either the more conservative version or the Semi as some of the fan renderings have shown. Does Tesla showing an F150 in the bed of that render suggest they have been working with Ford for he past 3 years, even before the new Ford CEO?

The Trump admin threatening VW-FORD-HONDA-BMW with anti trust never made sense before, in part because everything the Trump admin does seems so idiotic, but it does now. Now it seems clear that VW-Ford-Honda-BMW-Tesla-FCA/Peugeot/Citroen are now working together on climate change solutions (FCA came later- but merger with Peugot-Citroen and plan to source Tesla skate boards beyond their existing Tesla credit purchases shows they came to their sense) because all have to sell cars in CA, the EU and China and Trump won't be around much longer nor will the fossil fuel influence.
