LOL - no - that is a mistake. I never noticed because they are the same quantity. I corrected my pie chart for the next time I upload. Thanks for letting me know.

I'll have updates to mine today. Though given NYE is tomorrow and the holiday will mess up the weekend, I expect a longer than usual port delay in Baltimore for me. Weather can affect as well. They say usually about a week there (and so does the info collected) but I expect maybe 2. Should have by my early Feb birthday no problems

Yeah, it looks like the destination port delay averages 6.2 days. My car has been there since 12/21 (9 days), so I'll be dragging down the average. But having a holiday in there certainly doesn't help.

A holiday on a Friday too no less. Lots of places give Thursday and Friday off

About once per month I will sort and average the delivery tracking data - this morning I only looked at the average for Mini orders placed after 09/01/2020 - and the average order-to-delivery-days for those orders is 72 days! Much lower than the 94.4 of all tracked orders. I will add a line for that on my next post of the data. I know that economic and Covid factors can impact the output of the Mini production facility, but that is encouraging.

@GvilleGuy I just feel bad that two of ours are going to make it lower thanks to holidays too. No way my car arriving on the 30th will even be thought of until maybe today lol might skew lower for us. Even the ship my car was on didn't move from port (scheduled this way) until yesterday. I know the site says 3 months for US deliveries so at least we're still on track for that.

What are you counting as delivery? I don't see a column for that in the spreadsheet, only arrival at the dealership. My car arrived before the new year, but won't be delivered until 1/9, a full 9 days later. I assume the dealership needs to touch up the car and prep it for delivery. I also ordered bonnet stripes, which I assume will be installed at the dealership.

I just take the date the car arrives at the dealer and subtract the date the dealer ordered. I have an offline Excel spreadsheet where I manually key in the changes made to the google docs delivery tracking spreadsheet.

I was told bonnet stripes should be done at port. Though dealership can do them if needed.

Did those of you having bonnet stripes added arrange that through your dealer? It isn’t an option from then factory, right?

Also, I’m assuming a dark grey color for a Enigmatic Black finish? Other thoughts?

I recently placed my order. Stripes have to be added to the order by the salesperson.

I told my dealer I wanted them when I ordered. While they did not show up on my purchase order, they were done in port and already there when the car arrived at the dealership. They have the ability to add at the dealership too if needed.

There are only white and black bonnet stripes from what I recall the last time I purchased. The black have white pin stripes on the edges. The white have black. Having seen all colors in person I'd definitely go white.

When I pick up my car (going into detailing tomorrow - yay) I can ask more about it. The delay is due to funds needing to clear on my end only. Well that and I thought I'd have 1.5-2 weeks not 3 days lol

My bonnet stripes were installed at the dealer. I wanted them from the beginning but the dealer couldn’t get them into the order system for port installation. Maybe it depends on the port...or maybe the dealer’s command of the system.

If you want any color other than black or white there are a ton of aftermarket options. Even the OEM stripes are just decals...

As an early SE order I don't think I had the choice of bonnet stripes, but my dealer offered to put them on. I'm sure dealers have plenty of experience with them so I think it'd be similar to having them done at the port.

I'm waiting until I can get enigmatic yellow border before I consider adding stripes.

The problem with the bonnet stripes is that they are not part of the official order I am told. even when you look online (which mirrors what the purchase order options are) they are not there. They have to know where to notate it for the port to see it and do the install. Or so I was told. Yes, they are decals, but they hold up very well.

In order to visualize on mine (since yellow caps are not a BRG option) I just used the ICE S build to get it. My avatar is me building both, saving the pics and then using the ICE bonnet stripe pic to put them on the SE. Was nice when trying to decide white or black top.

All of my funds are in place. I have work to do but then will call my dealer to set up pick up time.

We are still waiting for my order to be accepted into the queue - once Mini accepts it, then my sales guy will send me a summary and I will report back if bonnet stripes are listed or not. (just in case things have changed)

Are you one who said it should be a 2022 model year? The purchase order should state what year it is too.

I think I'll be able to call my dealership today to schedule. Funds from Carvana are showing. Just waiting on the morning to officially start so the other transfer will go from pending as I will be writing a certified check.

Yes - my salesman said 2022 starts Feb 1st. I'll report back once I have the order details. My salesman checks for updates daily for me. The order has still not been accepted.

And my pending is still pending, oops. So no call today. Tomorrow is my guess. I think Friday or Sat would be a good day to pick her up!

I'll be interested to see if the switch happens that early. I thought it was closer June but then again that could be when they start to be delivered that I was thinking of. Or things could have changed since I bought almost 5 years ago.
