Source: The BMW i3-REx uses a carbon fiber body on aluminum frame. It give near Tesla performance because of the light weight. But hand layup of carbon fiber is an expensive material and labor intensive. These guys could 3d print a BMW i3 body without layup cost and designed for crash worthy protection. Marry their technology with Tesla drivetrains or (ugh!) Continental and Delphi 'off the shelf' parts and ... WOW! Perhaps the news folks could mine this for an article, @Domenick? Bob Wilson
