This time in his new article on Tesla Auto Pilot Lambert is trying to suggest that Tesla is abandoning full self driving. You have to read it very carefully to not have that impression.
But here is what appears to be intentionally misleading about the article- there may be
no delay at all in functional full self driving its just when
Tesla will be able to call it full self driving because that is a huge deal for the BS auto insurance industry that helps prop up fossil fuels with nonsensical investments in fossil fuel stocks while passing on the unneeded regular losses in fully collusive fashion to all customers. Lambert doesn't go into the critical nuance to help people understand that Tesla isn't giving up on the tech (on the contrary) he just says he wouldn't pay for it until they clarify- clarify what they they aren't giving up on it? That was never an issue to begin with, just one he seems to have manufactured for the article.

And what prompted all this? Well you see Tesla released some statistics showing that
that AP in current form is 6.67x safer than the average human driver already and that is before AP3 even releases which is a huge increase in over the last report and approaching Musk's 10x expected performance. You'll note more FUD from "The Drive" trying to suggest Tesla is causing more accidents no mention of the huge increase in sales? You see they piss their pants over this stuff but it makes Tony Seba's predictions all the more pressing for fossil fuels. Last time AP scared them they did their SEAL dies in Tesla gig to nix autopilot 1. You see they go into total panic over this stuff, AP scares the living daylights out of them and for good reason.

Over the next year Tesla vehicles may achieve canceling about 4 days of global petro production. The total EV load across the next year may cancel about 10 days of global petrol production. But I see this moving faster than Moore's law doubling yearly so that right on time fossil fuel industries revenue outside of the 10% for non-fuel purposes is completely cancelled by 2025. But understand they means they are all in bankruptcy and under full state receivership and control by 2022-23- they should never ever be re-privatized and their investors need to be zero-ed out not socialization of cost- Fingers crossed that PG&E ditches its gas unit as it faces bankruptcy now (and is barred from socializing the costs) remember it helped bring us the Enron scam, the Aliso Veijo and now the blaze of Northern CA- kind of wonder if they just uncapped themselves to try raise prices for uncompetitive NG- they literally raised prices after they did Aliso Vejio and gassed all those people out of their homes. PG&E plight will hit them all soon And if people knew what really mattered in terms of not being a slave that is the best thing they could hope for times 10x.

I think that after WWII there was a panic about how not to have WWIII because no one would survive the nukes and they were of course not sure that nukes themselves were enough of a deterrent,, not even after their demonstrated power. So they looked around and found historically the most effective control mechanism humans ever came up with, which money (currency-banking-taxes) and decided they would use banking to establish global control and this would be primarily through making money scarce for most people so they could be controlled with it. Well Hallelujah, because banks and rule by money is going to get flushed too. People are waking up to a system where money is used to keep them in a perpetual state of insecurity burning up all their time chasing money because money and by extension needed goods are kept artificially scarce to as Greenspan put it: make sure the common man doesn't get to comfortable- or cease to be a slave through control by money.

Hoping Zach Shahan adds Ars Technica to his Pravdah tracker list- in my opinion Ars has always been a prostitute media firm that would take sponsor bribes for evil causes. But also my opinion is that media that lies to the public about the public interest for money- that isn't something that should ever be tolerated because it actually drowns out speech much more than stopping it would quell speech and it means we lose democracy because this creates the core of money in politics or bribery based law or law as crime and in allowing it we slippery slope to the point of having no rights and becoming reduced to the property of the rich (most aggressive bribers.) So to me, although I don't like the idea of countries this kind of bribery based prostitution and selling out is treason, you're selling out your society and your fellow human beings in a way that is cumulative and so incredibly toxic. As a species we have a hard enough time find our way without being intentionally mislead for money. If some sponsor says we'll pull our ads or we won't have our affiliates link to you or we won't do interviews- responding to all of that by lying is bribe taking. And of course just being on their payroll and taking money to print what they tell you under the guise of objectivity is more of the same. Misrepresentation for money is misrepresentation. And for people looking for the effects of it in writing its pretty obvious but it still dangerously misleads the wider public.

Lets not forget Lambert's comment last week where he suggested that Tesla lowered prices because demand was dropping. Actually the cost of Tesla vehicles increased but per Lambert they apparently had to decrease prices in the face of falling demand. This was the pre- loaded strategic shill narrative long in the works because of the pre-planned Fed Tax Credit expiration but still he parroted it. You can produce a lot of good analysis and insight but all of that is undone when you given into being a strategic shill- it is not even possible without first gaining the trust to tell the lie where it matters in a pinch. Appearance can be worse than reality so maybe something else is going on but this appears to be a solid patter if you go back and look, and knowing that appearances can be worse you'd think they'd manage it better. The time of un-sponsored media is coming- better more honest open search achieves better truth matching which should make it impractical but I long for the day when sponsorship in all its forms is crime, because it is crime, sponsored media most of all. Every-time you hear sponsorship (dirtiest word in the English language) think patronage and spoils system, think of the bribery that cancels your vote its a conflict of interest so big it cancels free society.
