Mind if I ask what dealer and price you were able to get? Was it the preferred model?

    Thanks.

  3. Yes it was for a preferred Kona in Manitoba. I was angling for 2% over dealer invoice. I got reasonably close. Dealer invoice for a preferred via car costcanada is $43,012 +2% + $1805(delivery) + $100(ac tax) + $18.75 tire taxes, + admins fees. In the end my initial out the door price was around(from memory) $46100 + PST/GST - $5K federal rebate. I am going to decline the federal 5K credit and instead opt for the 100% capital cost allowance on EVs deduction against my business income taxes which would be around a $18,000 savings. I figure my true out the door after income tax savings will be around $34,200. I probably could have squeezed a couple hundred more out of the deal but my dealer was great. I literally had the deal done under 30 minutes over my lunch, which included negotiating, ordering the vehicle and paying my deposit.

  5. FYI related to dealer invoice pricing...Our preferred was ~43600 before taxes, freight and other fees. Our company gets dealer invoice + 2% on Hyundai's. We did however go in with the dealer invoice +2% price we were offered somewhere else and they offered to beat it....so it worked out pretty well.
