Is China poised to dominate the EV market?

  1. This Forbes article paints a rosy picture for Chinese EVs' apparent quality and price points. Do you think this makes sense, or is it BS, or this a situation of not enough information? (Like, they look good on paper, but do not live up to expectations.)

    China public policy supports EVs. In contrast, some countries have been not welcoming to EVs.

    Poor air quality in Chinese cities may have a lot to do with it.

    I don’t trust China with regards to anything they claim. China is still releasing ozone depleting chemicals despite claiming that they don’t. I don’t know why anyone bothers trusting anything a communist government says.
