   how many times can you claim fed tax credit for PHEV

   Look at line 56 on your tax return.
   Line 63, if you own a business.
   
   1) Around $7500, then 1 EV.
   2) Around $15,000, then 2 EV.
   3) Around $22,500, the 3 EV.
   
   Edit: Some EVs don't qualify for the full tax credit ($7500).
