So after installing my old Yi dashcam, it appears it’s on its last legs. I’m having difficulty connecting to it to download videos and I think the internal battery is wearing out so it will cut off without a proper shutdown sometimes. I’ve decided it’s time to upgrade to a new unit (Viofo A129 Dual Camera) which has a hardwire option to enable parking mode. Anyone have any experience hardwiring a dashcam in one of these fancy new cars? I’ve done a bit of reading and I understand I’ll probably need a fuse tap. There’s a lot going on in these cars though and I don’t want to screw anything up. Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
