Too bad Honda did not take the approach Chevy did wth the Volt. There is far more information and metrics on what the Volt is doing, has done, and why. It is frustrating because that information would be so easy to provide.
I own a Nissan Leaf. I can NEVER tell when I am caused to use more friction braking rather than regen. And I would say that the standard level of regen in both cars is about the same. I don't agree with Honda's implementation of this. I would rather have to use more friction braking rather than hearing the engine come on and stay on.
