from the corner when I opened it this morning after some rain last night.

I have never had a car do that before. It's the first hard rain since I got the car.

    Ideas?

Hmmm, I’ve driven several times in the rain and parked in a dry garage and mine is not doing that. It does puddle overall a little bit more than other cars I’ve owned.
Can you tell if it’s leaking from the door panel itself or from the door jam between the door and the car? Are you sure the driver’s window closed all the way?

Only thing that comes to mind is to check all the door, door frame, and window gaskets on that side.
I’ve chased down leaks in older cars by having some one squirt water from a hose with me inside looking for leaks.
In this case you would want to start with it dry and apply water to just one area at a time and then open door to see if you can recreate the water drip. This might narrow it down as to where the leak is coming from.
