  1. It looks like there will be some changes coming to the e-Niro for 2020. At least, in some parts of the world.

So far we just have some info for the British market, which will see some trim and feature changes.

The new e-Niro ‘4’ trim offers new things as standard:
    • a new updated 10.25-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system with telematics system featuring UVO Connect Services,
    • LED headlights with bi-function projection
    • ambient lighting
    • a battery heating system
It looks like the UK will get more allocations too. They have 3,000 customers on the waiting list and hope to clear the backlog by next summer. Hopefully that means more allocations for other markets as well.

  3. Seems to be more popular in the UK. I think it is a great option in the States. I will end up paying $30k for my premium trim after the federal and state rebate.

Considering the price is $45k + tax, wondering how that is possible?

I wonder whether Kia will fix the known noise problems, so the 2020 avoids this potential significant gotcha?

  6. $7500 federal tax credit
    $2500 state tax credit
$800 local utility company clean fuel rebate
$1500 Kia financing rebate (net maybe $1100. I have to pay the loan and interest for a few months for the rebate to arrive before I can pay it off)
    $2900 off MSRP via negotiation
    -------
So that is $15,200 off the $45,400 list
You are right that I left out the sales tax. More like $33,500.
