Our Clarity Plug In is going in for the HVAC controller replacement and I've made a list of things I want them to look at, one being the rear armrest... But I figure I could ask here first...

Does the top of the rear armrest on your car flop down and rest on the seat, or does it stop above the seat?

Well, I guess mine is normal then. Thanks for the replies.

Mine flops down and does not rest on the seat. There is space between the seat and the bottom of the arm rest.

By any chance do you have the rear seat covers installed on your car? Mine has a cover for the armrest (which is installed) but I haven't paid attention to whether if affects the position against the seat. Just putting it out there.

I do not have the seat covers installed. I bought towels that match the seat cover and keep them there with the arm rest down. I will attach pictures later.

So it does actually touch the seat but does not lay flat on the seat but I did not notice with the towels KIMG0099.jpg . See pics
