I see 2020 now comes standard with a battery warmer. I wonder if it's possible to retrofit a battery warmer to a 2019 model?
The dealer was telling me the 10 inch is a bit of a scam as it still uses the standard 7 inch screen graphics/size, so theres simply a black perimeter on the screen of the 10 inch
The dealer must be misinformed. A 3 inch bezel around a 7 inch screen would look years out of place. Even if they used the same 8 inch screen that's on the Kona ultimate 2019, that would mean a 2 inch bezel and that is a huge bezel by today's standard.
I actually think the dealer is right on the money.The 7 inch unit is predominantly bezel real estate. Take a look at the photos, the 10.3 inch screen and 7 inch screen share the same size form factor compared to vent below.
Those pictures you have provided are super useful, especially because of the vent comparison, thanks. While I still can't tell if the screen really is a full 10 inch screen, one thing that is apparent is that it went nearly bezel-less. Your pictures also show that the 2020 does provide a much larger display, which is always good for us folks getting on in years and with less than perfect eye sight. However, I will probably have my 2019 ultimate for another 8 years. By that time, I will probably need a 15 inch display or I will have to rely on the audio description instead.
But the first has rows of buttons on either side of the screen while the second one does not. Button real estate has been replaced by screen. Outside dimensions remain similar.
A lot of misinformation here! The $7,500 is NOT for "leases only". It's for purchases only. Also, this lasts through the end of the year, and does NOT end Sept 30th. Not sure who told you that, but it's completely wrong.

Sure! It’s Hampton Ford Hyundai in North Hampton off rt.1. I dealt with Kevin there (sales guy), and the process was painless. So I can highly recommend them. The car is also awesome! Only caveat is that while they do understand EVs to some extent, a lot of the tech is new to them as well. So don’t expect the questions you see on the forum here to be answered by them. I think I decided I want the ultimate trim. Local dealers have a few of them, and they are marking down a little from MSRP. Not a lot of choice in terms of color though. Mostly black. I may go by on Monday to try and make a deal. If that doesn't work, I can wait until spring for a 2020. One dealer publishes prices with all possible discounts (military, student and something else). That sucks ... our sales people are much the same ... they add nothing to the transaction supporting the profit they make. Bring on Tesla's internet sales model!
Hopefully that is not a concern (technically / service wise) for any immediate problem. I find this and the UK forum seem to communicate the most immediate information of concern. It is only a matter of time before the regional techs get adequately trained to provide the service required. I had the same experience months prior to delivery of my Kona, but now am impressed at the knowledge of the techs and support.

Congratulations , 50% SOC is a good level to maintain a healthy battery pack. When I picked up mine , they charged it to 100% (fortunately it wasn't that way for more than a few hours) which is the only time it has been at that high a SOC since Feb. Enjoy your new Kona
If my dealership didn't have the car fully charged when I picked it up I would have serious reservations about their sloppy service.
My sense is that they only had one L2 charger that had to charge multiple vehicles for both Honda and Hyundai. Something along those lines was the source of the problem. I had called at 10AM to verify the car was still there and give them a chance to get it ready. But the range only showed 150 miles or so when I got there. It was washed and clean - I will give them that. I will have frequent trips of about 150 miles, and each time I will need to be at 70% or above before I start out. Preferably 80%, really, esp once it starts to get cold. I will ultimately get my own L2 charger in the not too distant future. Sent from my SM-G930V using Inside EVs mobile app
