Thanks for posting that. I would love to have the pdf please so I can save it forever. lol I am waiting for ours with no news.
The file is 9.5 megs, InsideEVs media manager reports it as too large so here is a Google link to the .PDF. Maybe we could up the file size limit. 10meg seems a bit dated. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VLIcG3SR4E-YfCiIihFUvXKo7QUIxIeT/view?usp=sharing
Only thing I’ve noticed that’s a bit disappointing is the lack of Lane Follow Assist (LFA) as demonstrated in European models. Essentially it’s a rudimentary version of self-driving using the camera and sensors at the front. Works quite well according to videos I’ve watched. I hope that’s a possible software upgrade in the future. Would be awesome for traffic and boring drives!
Are you 100% that Canadian cars will not get this feature? It was an unadvertised feature in the UK so it is possible that we'd need to get hold of the owners manual to find out. It is an awesome safety feature that I think they would want in every market. These sort of safety features should eventually lead to reductions in insurance cost forcing all manufacturers to follow suit. Did you notice the model of Kona he was testing in the video,I heard him mention the Krell sound system? The Ultimate gets an Infinity sound system with no mention of the Krell in any of our literature. For that matter it does not mention that what the Preferred trim gets.
I asked out sales rep about LFA and he said he didn't see it when they took the training in November for Canada. I assumed we were getting Krell Sound System, but you are right it says Infinity in the brochure.
No, I’m definitely not 100% sure, and I certainly hope I’m wrong! The videos of it in action look amazing. Especially if you have a long boring commute. If you’re mentioning that it’s not advertised in the UK at all then that’s great news! I don’t know why they wouldn’t amp up that feature like crazy! It’s way cooler than LKA (Lane Keep Assist)
My sales person didn’t know much about the vehicle at all. I think I knew more about it than she did! But yes, as stated - it says Infinity in the brochure.
I'm hoping that LFA is there and they just didn't see it in their training. I am very keen on Auto Regeneration/Smart Recuperation.
I've read the manual, and it is not clear, but seems to indicate the car will not steer by itself, but I guess we will have to wait until it arrives.
Today I saw one in Vancouver and it sure is 100% Infinity audio system. The sales team did not think the LFA was going to be available in our market either although they thought the feature naming might change per each market.
Here is the accessory brochure. I can't imagine the accessories being much different from the gas versions. Although you may not need a block heater!
