Had my first sighting this afternoon. It was a white Clarity at the Southlake, TX Costco. I've had my Modern Steel Touring for a month and am loving it.

Saw my first Clarity in the wild in the Dallas/Richardson/Plano area. It was a black one just like mine. Made a left turn right in front of me onto Coit headed towards George Bush.

Saw FOUR different Clarities in the Boston area yesterday. Cars are popping up all over the place now.

I had a sighting Wednesday at Ikea in Elizabeth NJ. Spotted a white one getting some Blink charging. Don't know why though. Blink charges like 3 cents a second. A full charge would cost around $4, which will be more expensive then driving on ICE.

    Do you mean $.03/30 seconds?

Here is a picture of me charging my red Clarity today at lunch next to a white Clarity. In my mirror you can see a modern steel Clarity waiting her turn. Within a few minutes, a green Clarity circled the parking lot to see if there was a charger available. The owner of the white Clarity was dropped off within the hour by someone driving a white Clarity. 5 Claritys in the same spot within 1 hour. image (6).jpg

ThanksgivingClaritys.jpg Posted this on FB, but forgot here (the one, true, repository). This is Thanksgiving Day at Scotts, a restaurant in Sacramento. Another Crimson Clarity. There wasn't enough room in the space next to him, so I parked on the other side of Z3.

I've finally started seeing another Clarity a couple of times a week here in Raleigh, NC - because one of my friends bought one. So a couple of times a week there are two parked in the same lot in North Raleigh.

I saw a Clarity parked at the front of the grocery store. As I walked by, another one drove into the parking lot, and noticed the first Clarity was leaving. So the second one waited then parked in the spot the first one just left. Probably a first for both drivers. I saw a few in different parking lots the past week.

I saw two last week, both on I-270 in Maryland. The first was a white one that must not have had his HOV sticker, because he was toiling in the slow lanes as I went zooming by. The other was a gray one who was only in the local lanes for about a mile.

Having the HOV sticker is great. I consistently beat the Waze estimate by 5-10 minutes, depending on when I leave the office, since the Android Auto version of Waze does not have a way to select HOV like the regular phone app.

Edit: I also saw a black one a couple weeks ago in Frederick.

Three Clarities near the Boston convention center on the service road today. Must be a sign of the apocalypse... :)

I found out only days after I bought my Clarity last month that someone at my work also owns one and parks right next to me at the charging station... LOL!

I haven't met the driver in person as we have different schedules but this is the only Clarity besides mine that I saw ever in Miami area... I see way more Model 3s, McLarens and Ferraris than the Claritys in town so it's definitely a super rare car in Miami.

One dealer I went said they haven't sold a single Clarity in the entire year since the car was out and they had to shift the entire Clarity inventory up to the west coast area.

I'm seeing a lot more Clarities everywhere. It is almost common. Our secret is out. One time I took the parking spot that another Clarity just left and it wasn't a charging spot.

I see one in San Diego every 3 or 4 days. They are rare. Even with the State & Fed rebates, the 0.9% long term financing, the HOV sticker, and almost $4 gas here; they are still very rare.

I honestly don't get it. I am a big believer in the wisdom of the market or of crowds; but on this one I am not so sure.

It seems like a no-brainer to me. My only fear is that they will have a hybrid Clarity with a 100 mile ev range in 2 years; and I will want it:)

I'm married to mine for at least a decade:) I hope.

"B –Vehicles that are registered and normally operated in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington." Good grief. There are certain things that should be done at a Federal level . . .

This would require the federal government to actually have a policy for reducing carbon, which is why these states have the arrangement in place. If we relied on the federal government for a policy instead of the $7500 tax credit we’d probably have a $7500 electric surcharge for not using enough gasoline to power our cars!
