Just received and installed my Tuxmat floor mats... best coverage of any floor mat I've ever owned...and since it comes from Canada its 30% discount for US buyers! Highly recommended
WeatherTech mats ordered and shipped. Scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Only front row available, but I rarely have anyone in back.
I got tuxmat, after reading here. They are good, but wished they used same anchors as the originals in car. They lack anchoring, but fit quite snug at least for now. I have some minor concern on driver side mat, over long term use. But to be fair I have had same concern and issue with other third party mats in my other car.
Hi all, I just noticed costco.ca now has tuxmats available to order. It's $199.99 for any car, which is a bit of a discount vs. ordering directly from tuxmat. https://www.costco.ca/TuxMat-Custom-Car-Floor-Mats.product.100416714.html
Only for Canadian customers. Good price. With our trade war, I should be buying weathertech. Too bad I already bought the tuxmats. By the way, the tags on the tuxmats say made in china.
Ken et al: Fedex threw me a curve and changed the delivery of my WeatherTechs to tomorrow. Standby for photos.
Thank you Tailwind, you are our hero of the day! They are just what I expected from seeing ones in a Tacoma. Now with your visual confirmation, I am ordering a front set. I especially like the side coverage and the coverage over the left foot rest which the Honda mats are sorely lacking.
Nice, thanks. I would say there is slightly less coverage but not bad. I like how they use the existing anchors.
It's US$195 at amazon.com for US customer. If they use the actual exchange rate, I'm certainly buying it.
That is a good price. I got mine directly for 3 bucks more after the exchange rate including shipping. Tuxmats outsourced the distribution to Amazon. They needed to because they didn't ship mine for two weeks until I emailed them. Must be a small operation.
Can anyone explain what's wrong with the OEM brand? They seem to be cheaper....https://www.hondapartworld.com/clarity-accessories/clarity-floor-mat/767_08P17-TRT-110
There's nothing wrong with the OEM floor mats. There are just better options (WeatherTech) in some people's opinion. If the OEM mats work for you, have at it.
Look closely at the OEM mats. They do not cover the left dead pedal foot rest. All that water, mud, snow will run down the foot rest and under the OEM mat. Most of the aftermarket brands cover this foot rest partially or completely. Plus, the 3DMaxpider is cheaper. Only $71 for the front pair.
