I'm glad Quincy (definitely not a horse) confirmed negative myth #5 as fact (but she didn't mention toll booths or drive-through fast-food windows, only problematic access to ATMs). I'm skeptical we won't see Apteras with curbed right wheel fenders (I'm so paranoid about curbing my MINI Cooper SE's unique aero wheels that I put them on the car only 1 or 2 days a year for Drive Electric Week events).
Remember, though, that we've seen them visit a fast-food drive-thru in Gamma and receive their order without incident.
My quick-recall Aptera memory isn't as complete as yours, @Kerbe (I'm sure no one's is). Quincy should have included the Gamma-food video, and Aptera should supply one of these with every car: Actually, I'm sure toll-booth passage will be easier in an Aptera than, say, a Lamborghini Huracan or McLaren.
It's in "Myths debunked #2". E-ZPass currently works in 20 states - and there are variations on the theme that work in others: Florida's SunPassPro, for example, works in 22 states. Some states now photograph license plates and send bills for tolls rather than relying upon transponders.
Do I understand correctly that both the Windsor and Mackinac bridges each have their OWN passes? I don't recall there being any toll roads, as such, in the state - but I haven't driven there for decades...
You are correct. If I get in line for an Aptera tomorrow, however, I'm sure there will be toll roads in Michigan by the time my Aptera is delivered. Hopefully, Michigan will subscribe to EZPass.
